From his recent project “THG”, DMV artist GRXZZLY has just released a visual for his song “Ghee’d Up”; a song all about keeping it real and staying true to yourself, something GRXZZLY is no stranger to.
With this release, GRXZZLY gives the same hard hitting energy that we received earlier last heat in the “GoldMxnd Freestyle” visual and definitely stays true to his lyricist ways. In addition to strong lyricism, GRXZZLY keeps things interesting on the track by using a plethora of flows and styles all while staying true to his original sound. When GRXZZLY gets on a beat you can tell that he really has fun with it and challenges himself to see what he can do on the track, something that definitely keeps listeners coming back for more. His new album “THG” is available on all major streaming platforms.

Meda Blaq is a 24 year old artist from Hampton, Virgina who on his project, Bruce Wayne, gives listeners a deeper look into the multiple aspects of his persona as an artist .
On this project, Blaq shows listeners a different side of himself as an artist throughout the different songs on the project. On “How It Go” and “Get Enough”, the artist displays a brash, hardcore style. However, on “Show Em”, Blaq contrasts the previously displayed hardcore style by becoming more transparent and relatable as he discusses his hardships and struggles he faces On “I Can”, Blaq gives his version of a motivational message and tells of his ambition and determination to succeed become successful by any means necessary.
A notable feature of this tape is, of course, the beats produced by Virginia favorites Treez Lowkey and Ready Rock James and also how cohesively Blaq blends his different styles and flows on each track.

The end of the year is always an interesting time for music. With a little under two months left in the year, its always interesting to see what tricks artists have up their sleeve to close the year out. Recently, artist G RIEL has shown signs of closing the year out strong with the release of his new visual for his track “Sum Slight”
On the track the Winchester based artist delivers diverse flows in an extremely cohesive manner over the intricacies of the beat (produced by Cxdy & Wxlfstealth). From G RIELs brash delivery to his witty (sarcastic, even) punchlines, there is just something about G RIELs presentation on this track that screams “banger”.

A project that perfectly contrasts an artists dialect about internal conflict with crazy lit beats paired with insane animation and intricate storytelling to bring the subject matter to life is always appreciated. Throw some top notch production in the mix by producers such as DEIPSET and Yung Kifo in the mix and you’ve got Rashad Starks newest project “Playing With Fire”
The project does a wonderful job of tackling the artists feelings regarding suicide, depression, anxiety, being a college drop out and feelings of low self worth while at the same time displaying the artists motivation to overcome these feelings and be a “greater man”. The project opens up with “With Fire”, On which the artists gives pretty much a run down on what the whole tape is going to be about. The artist also showcases his singing abilities on the opening track as well. On “No Ls” he features Dell Fargo and speaks on his desire to persevere and keep grinding. On DRIP, another “turn up” song the rapper adds a feature from menacing rapper Hooks Ventura, adding to the eerie, dark effect of the track. In contrast to the “most lit” theme he goes for in the previous tracks, Stark flips the script and discusses very dark thoughts on “Fahrenheit 451” where he speaks on his feelings of depression, alcoholism and suicidal thoughts. On “Amen”, a more upbeat song, the rapper speaks on his feelings on religion and closes out the tape with a prayer asking God to help him to be a more appreciative, focused man.
