The end of the year is always an interesting time for music. With a little under two months left in the year, its always interesting to see what tricks artists have up their sleeve to close the year out. Recently, artist G RIEL has shown signs of closing the year out strong with the release of his new visual for his track “Sum Slight”
With his appeasing aesthetic and new wave sound Antny Rome, singer, visual artist and creator of Romaniatic visual art platform, is a talented young creative whose whole persona embodies the word “innovation”. His most recent piece of creative work is showcased in the release of his single “Fade Now”.
The sing-songy single has a very dreamy, smooth sound compared with vocals that are comparable to Trippie Red. The track is produced by Pagano and combines entertaining vocal effects, nostalgic lyrics and a very mysteriously inviting delivery resulting in a uniquely crafted track that listeners are sure to love.

Quality, artistic visuals are always an appreciated bonus when it comes to songs we love. A dope visual takes songs that are already our favorites and not only adds a “face” to the sound but also gives a deeper look into the personality and aesthetic of the artist. Nicholis’ release of his “Had To” visual does just that.
The video for the bouncy track is shot by OGVISUALS ( @000.og ) and provides viewers with a wavy, unique display to accompany the track. The song itself features producer Chet’ Atlas and combines animated delivery with relatable content and a catchy beat for an overall well put together track perfect for bumping on your spring playlist.

Rapper Fontain has released a new single entitled “Commencement $peech”. The rapper, who is also member of the Flight Ent. collective, is putting a new spin on the classic boom bap sound with this track, a style that many emcees aren’t necessarily able to pull off. The track also displays the artists unique word play as well as his ability to include comedic elements in music as a method of keeping listeners engaged in his story telling.

Not long ago, Miah Travis released his controversial single “Caged Bird”. This week, he is back with more heat and has released his very first visual for his beautiful and equally thought provoking song, “Mona Lisa”.
The 19 year old emcee is no stranger to allowing his fans to be introduced to his inner thoughts (hear his track, “Anxiety”) and on this track he lets us hear his ideas on religion. The song (produced by Tokyo Trendz) paints a vivid picture of Miah’s thoughts on his faith and being raised in the church. While we know that Miah is a practicing Christian, seeing that he openly speaks on his faith in his music (in his song “Anxiety” he speaks on using prayer as a relief from his troubling times), with “Mona Lisa” he explains to listeners some of the struggles he faces even with his faith. He also touches on controversial topics within the church such as preachers teaching that salvation can be bought.
The visual (directed by Spencer Sease) for the project is equally as stunning and classic as the track itself. The video features scenes of Miah Travis rapping in a sanctuary, in reference to the religious nature of the song, as well as scenes of him in an art gallery in reference to the tracks underlying message that even in the midst of the struggle, there is beauty in having faith.
