GRXZZLY Keeps It Real in “Ghee’d Up” Visual

From his recent project “THG”, DMV artist GRXZZLY has just released a visual for his song “Ghee’d Up”; a song all about keeping it real and staying true to yourself, something GRXZZLY is no stranger to.

With this release, GRXZZLY gives the same hard hitting energy that we received earlier last heat in the “GoldMxnd Freestyle” visual and definitely stays true to his lyricist ways. In addition to strong lyricism, GRXZZLY keeps things interesting on the track by using a plethora of flows and styles all while staying true to his original sound. When GRXZZLY gets on a beat you can tell that he really has fun with it and challenges himself to see what he can do on the track, something that definitely keeps listeners coming back for more. His new album “THG” is available on all major streaming platforms.

GRXZZLY Shows Lyricism Isn’t Dead in the DMV With “GoldMxnd Freestyle” Visual

Who doesn’t love a good freestyle?

Recently DMV artist GRXZZLY has dropped his “GoldMxnd Freestyle” Visual which proves to hip hop fans that lyricism is still alive.

The visual begins with a recording of a phone call of someone explaining to GRXZZLY how the scene has become oversaturated with rappers who are producing a lot of less than great music and how unimpressive this music is. The person on the phone then tells GRXZZLY to give the people something serious to listen to, and with this freestyle that is exactly what he does. With this freestyle, GRXZZLY gives amazing delivery paired with witty punchlines that will resonate with true hip hop fans. GRXZZLY stated that “this is a representation of his penmanship and mindset as of right now. Some people claim that lyricism is dead in the DMV, well I disagree 100 %”

Remembering Xxxtentacion: R. Locko Pays Homage With New Release “So Many Demons”

With a troubled past, a controversial present and a promising future,  Xxxtentacion was certainly an underground artist whose name became a hot topic for the hip hop community within the past year and a half. With his unusual appearance, an unorthodox perspective and a musical approach that was quite unique in comparison to what hip hop has become used to, Xxx had become an artist that some hated but many people came to love. In his music Xxx promotes individualism and the power of being confident in yourself. In addition to this, Xxx spoke a lot about dealing with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and other topics that are not spoken on frequently enough in hip hop, making his music a source of comfort for so many people. Although the rapper had a hard life as a child as well as a lot of legal issues he was facing, Xxx recently had been showing signs of changing, getting his life on track and was inspiring many of his supporters to do the same. However, on Monday June 18, 2018 the underground hip hop community was faced with some very grim and disheartening news, Xxxtentacion had been shot and killed in Broward County, Florida, his own hometown.

The news took everyone by surprise, so much so that some thought it was a joke, but unfortunately the news was true; Xxxtentacion really had been killed. Social media took to a frenzy shortly thereafter and there were hundreds of tweets and posts circulating sending condolences, talking about his impact on fans as well as theories of who the killer might have been. With all of these things going on and all of these people talking about how much Xxx had impacted (and for some, saved) their lives, one thing is clear; Xxxtentacion may be gone but he is not forgotten.

Today, R. Locko has released a track in memory of the fallen star entitled “So Many Demons”. The track is produced by Polo Golf Club and speaks on the suffocating effects of depression, which Xxxtentacion spoke on quite frequently in his music. At the end of the track, Locko gives listeners a short speech about realizing that we all go through the same issues and that we all need to be there for one another during these struggles instead of being so quick to judge one another.

Listen: Vonsensei Has Fans “Staring And Smiling” With New Single

Lately Vonsensei has created quite the buzz for himself regarding his musical endeavors. The artist has recently received 1,000,000 plays on his song “Henny”, which was only released 2 years ago. Within that time the artist has really done a tremendous job of giving fans constant content and showing his diversity as an artist while staying true to his unique style.

“Staring and Smiling” is the artists newest single. A notable feature of this track is that on this track (which is produced by Andre Palace) the artist switches things up doing a sing-songy rap type flow, a new musical approach for the artist. Overall, the song provides a seductive sound that listeners can vibe to and is great for summer.
